Hughson Elementary School is a TK through 3rd grade Elementary School (+ State Preschool) that proudly serves the Hughson, CA community. As part of a Google Reference district, we emphasize rigorous academics with the appropriate utilization of technology. Our goal is to make all students college and career ready! In addition to our academics, we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students. As a PBIS school, we strive to have all of our students to be Safe, Respectful and Responsible in all that they do.
At Hughson Elementary School, it is truly a community effort, and we are proud to employ some amazing team members. Our office staff is courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Our teaching staff is comprised of dedicated professionals with varying backgrounds. Our teachers are extremely caring and knowledgeable educators who are constantly improving professionally. We also utilize a support team that includes a full-time English Language Development teacher and seven Instructional Paraprofessionals that are trained in phonics instruction. In addition, our teachers are supported by an Instructional Coach and an Educational Technology and Integration Coach.
